    Taillights + headlights + badges = VHT

    Hello everyone at cadillac Forums,

I'm a long time reader but this is my first post.

I decided when I first got the vetillac that I was going to blackout the taillights to conform with the rest of the car. So I went ahead and bought the LED taillights from ebay and VHT'ed them out.

Then I thought, well I have the rest of the can it would be a shame to waste it in my garage, so i went ahead and outlined the headlights with eyebrows with the VHT.

I liked the look but curiosity got the best of me and I went ahead and blacked out the whole headlight. THIS WAS A MISTAKE! DONT DO THIS! I could not see anything that night and was only saved by my xenon fogs. The next day I masked off the area of the projector and removed with goo be gone.

The results are in the picture.

Since i was satisfied, I went ahead and blacked out the badges considering the red was fading.

Sorry for the quality all of the photos were takin with my phone.

I decided not to do them for a few reasons one that I wouldn't be able to see while reversing and 2 to give the car contrast

I was thinking about powdercoating the grill and rims also, but I haven't had time to do all of that since its my daily driver

Ya i'll think about the clear fogs, either that or black out the blinker and i'd rather black out the side markers too.

Hahah....I've never seen one of those "Move Over" banners before...and I saw one on a "Rustang" this morning in the Ramstein BX parking lot...and now I see one on your car?

Did Autozone have them in the clearance bin or something?

Previous owner installed it, seems to do its job on the freeway. i've gotten mixed reviews about it. If you want I can ask him where he got it from so you can show off on the autobahn.

I was thinking about that but have the sticker be UV reactive & have some UV LEDs that I could turn on/off so the sticker is less apparent until I flash the lights!

Whoa, I see reverse lights or some silver reflector in there, but not on yours? Is it just VHT'd out on yours? Am I mixing something up from that link?

I can here it now: LATEST NEWS IN GERMANY, American car causes seizures on autobahn. More about it at 10.

actually The guy who owned it before me installed blinking LED's in the headlights and fogs plus underglow.... luckily the underglow was removed at some point. I can still use the LED's if for some reason I feel I want to pretend im a cop. If your curious I can make a video.

I did VHT mine out, but i think what your looking at are the blinkers?? the reverse lights are located in the center of the trunk.
