I joined the plasti-dip club. About 3 hours total time. Looks great. I will be dipping the wheels in a month when I get new tires.

So did I a few months ago, not a single chip yet.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have just left the emblems on and razor-edged around them. Instead I took them off and forgot the best part of this product is that it just peels off.

the black and silver looks very good. I'd powercoat the wheels and stay away from the plasti dip for that. Unless you are very good at not hitting curbs

That's a great thing about plasti-dip; you can touch it up and get a perfect match every time.

honestly, the only way to get 100% coverage is to take the grille's out of the bumper. I had to dump 2 cans of the stuff on them because you're essentially spraying it from 4 different angles. You can get away with not taking it off on the smaller mesh grills in the V1, but the V2's have a lot of depth to them.

Plus, taking the front fascia off on this car is incredibly easy. There's no alignment to worry about, and it's basically all plastic rivets.

Sorry I missed this post. I took these today with my phone. Not high quality, but thru snow, etc, as my DD... there are no real chips.
