    I may be trying this for my '09's grille if the Krylon Fusion doesn't work. For your grilles, I'd still recommend powdercoating but, of course, that's not reversible. So...

    I actually stripped them just the other day. They were holding up well with only one small rock chip. The reason I took it off was I got new wheels and the dealer scuffed around the edge with their tire machine. I could have touched them up but just decided to go back.

    Not. It did peel easily but wouldn't come in nice big "sheets" so I got impatient and gas bathed them. Just a sponge and gas and they were clean a LOT quicker.

    The thicker it is the easier it is to get off and the bigger the sheets that peel.

    Yeah not an option! Haha I still wanted my chrome (albeit faded and peeling in spots) to be intact.

    THIS. On the face of the wheel where the dip was heaviest it peeled nicely. Where it was lighter in between the spokes and on the rear of the wheel it didn't peel worth a crap. I put four coats on but If I had to recommend to someone else I would say five and ensure you get it on there thick.

    the thicker you spray it on the easier it comes off, i dont think it was misleading
