was it hard plastic.... or the flimsy stuff
hmmmm...... weird. I almost want pictures; haha
i could never really see it well but if i can ill try to snap some
Looks awesome guys, so you didnt need to prep the grill with anything, just sprayed it right on? Man almost sounds too easy!
You still need to do a very light prep... you want that surface as clean as possible so you don't have any contaminants trapped under the coating. I took a wire brush and wheel to the grill to get a really clean surface, the trim i just cleaned with soap and water.
+1 on that. I tried to wetsand the chrome, but it really didnt do shit. And if you want to go back to normal i'd suggest don't even get any sandpaper. Just spray it on and your set
A little reducer and red scotch bright should do just fine for prep.
I wouldn't call this a paint, but a coating, which is why you can get away with very little prep work.
onefastV is very correct. I wouldnt even prep the thing. It's gonan stick no matter what, but you just have the option to take it off
i literally wiped down the pieces i sprays with a wet paper towel and its been holding up awesome and still breaking neck :) cheap affective mod='s win
Got mine done today! Loving the flat black look and it hides my jammer heads much better too. How is everybody's holding up?
