I have been having peeling issues on some aftermarket wheels that were chrome. Seems to happen on the outer lip of the wheel where the tire meets the wheel otherwise plasti dip has been great!

my friend just recently plastidipped his entire C5 vette (non-z06) and in a day, the plastidip was off the chrome rims. But everything else, no issues. Just the rims. Seems like it doesn't adhere well to chrome maybe.

I think I am gonna redo my wheels. I did a can a piece on them. Really they should have probably more than that. But when I get some extra funding I'm just gonna PC them. And use the rest of the plasti dip on the badges and grille.

Looking like you just plasti dipped them yesterday. Holding up great, and at a fraction of the cost of powder coating

    Love your centre caps btw

You can definitely pressure wash plasti-dipped wheels. I've been doing it to mine for awhile.

re: Let's see if the plasti dip holds up

I like the look and would love to save a little time on brake dust cleaning. What is wheel cleaning like once you plasti dip them? I assume you guys did the inside of the wheel also.

    ----------

Has anyone tried these over your matte black?

re: Let's see if the plasti dip holds up

yes i did inside of wheel too.
cleaning is easy, i use car soap and a special wheel brush to get between the spokes and inside of rim.
