Steering wheel maintenace
I scratched up the stainless on my steering wheel close to one of the buttons.
I want to remove the black horn cover and separate the stainless cover from the rest of the wheel and remove the buttons to polish out the scratches.
Is this a difficult process? I don't want to mess with the airbag.

Re: Steering wheel maintenace
no, pretty simple, there are three clips you get to from the back... theres a special tool, but a small flathead and a little twist works well. dont turn on the key with the airbag disconnected, or better yet, disconnect the batt before you take the airbag off. once its off just a few screws to get the piece off, and then the switches from the trim... make sure you have some small torx drivers, t20 and t10 if i remember right
