    Painted Rotor Hubs?

    Please forgive a newbie if this is an old topic, but has anyone else painted their rotor hubs to prevent the recurrent rust that appears there? I cleaned mine with some Naval Jelly and a wire brush, then put on coats of automotive primer and high-heat Rustoleum in metalic silver. I doubt that the paint is gonna hold up forever, but they sure look a lot better than those rusty hubs.

    I sprayed mine black and its been holding up fine.

    Ditto here.

    I use Duplicolor spray caliper paint - it comes in several colors silver, black, red, blue, etc.

    Okay. Now, ANOTHER mod to add to my ever-growing backlog.
    '05 CTS-V, Maggie, Kooks, Hotchkis, Ground Control, Corsa, B&M, DSS/Hendrix, Full 3M Clear Bra, Autovation, V Headrests, CTS Console, STS-V 55w Fogs, Black Vette FRCs, Specter Werkes, Katech LS9 Clutch, SS Brake Lines, Heavymetals U-Turn Fuel Line Eliminator, Momo Combat Evo Shift Knob, Wldwhl Clear Sidemarkers, Linea Corse LC855 Wheels, plus a couple more. Mustang dyno'd at 472 RWHP/411 RWTQ.

    I used the silver caliper paint and primer as well. Although I only had them for 6 or so months before I got new rotors they held up nicely.
