    I did mine before the install. Cleaned it with acetone using a paper towel then applied a couple of coats of some brand X flat black. All I was trying to do is subdue the look. I also masked off a large "V" in the center of the heat exchanger, but you can't see it at all now that it's all together ... oh, well. The paint may have impacted the heat exchanger's efficiency somewhat, guess I'm hoping that it's minimal since it's only the front edge of the fins plus a little bit deeper onto the fins' surface itself.

    Juno, I gotta say, to post up pics of your car on here, you open yourself up to all kinds of criticism ... it's risky. But, you also stir up interest from all of us other guys as to possibilities for our cars. I'm not much of a music lover, but that is one kick-butt hi fi you've got.



    Note: "Hi fi" is an ancient term used to refer to "high fidelity" audio systems back in the early '60s right after the invention of stereo.
