Certainly caught my attention, don't think it would look too good on silver....it really stands out, much bigger than stock...I like it. Does it come in different background colors?

No different background colors but you can take the wreath and shield off and paint the circular part.

Heh, I think what's sort of embarrassing is that the hood gap is so large, you can fit a strip of LED's in there!

^^^ really? The hood gap is the same as all other CTS's I've seen. The LED strip is only 1/8" thick. Thanks for the input though. LOL

Sorry man, I didn't mean embarrassing for your car in particular. Just that the CTS has a freaking huge gap at the front of the hood.

Yeah, I've never understood that. I actually wondered if my front bumper was sagging down or something until I saw a couple of other cars and realized they were all that way.

op, do you have a pic with just the fogs and these LEDs on??.. i wonder how that would look.. any pic of what you spliced into??

i think normv did somthing similar.. but in the gap right under the headlight...

agreed.. i think right above the fog light would be the cleanest...

My fogs are stock and I barely use them but I will get you a couple of pics. I was thinking of putting them under the headlights but decided to go somewhere different. This is crazy but you know the plastic strip between the fog and the brake vent. I was thinking of cutting a 1/8' slit horizontally and sticking it in there. Opinions?

Right now I'm doing cosmetic mods b/c its already "fast" After I am done with the outside I will then start work on the engine and suspension.

Once again thanks for all of your input.

Cutting holes in bumpers is a permanent thing. You're probably already planning to do so, but if I were you I'd try sticking them on the outside temporarily (zipties, two-sided tape, whatever) before I cut any holes.

Underneath the headlight in the GINORMOUS gap between the bumper looks like a good spot too! That is if you dont have the Giant ripple that most of us have lol

I was black flagged at two different tracks because corner workers thought my hood was popped. Yanked on my hood then let me back on.
