    Mille Miglia Wheels Now Shipping

Got notice from Tirerack that my Millw Miglia wheels are being shipped to me (ETA 9/23). Best price so far on wheels for CTS-V ($249 per). I'll post again when they arrive. In the meantime, you can see them at www.tirerack.com

I like the stock rims but be sure to get some photos. Any idea if it drops significant weight off the car? Shouldn't affect handling once the TPS are installed, I wouldn't think.

What is the model name for those wheels? What size are they for the V? Do they only come in anthracite?

Those look like 5 lug wheels.. I hope you are not putting those on your V?

    What is the model number?

The model name for these wheels is MM-S. You can go to www.tirerack.com and put in the CTS-V and the year and see the wheels on a V. So far, it is the only wheel available from Tirerack and it doesn't come in anthracite.

For me, I need them because I'm getting racing tires (Hoosiers) for track days at Pocono, Watkins Glen, Limerock, etc.

I really don't know if they'll look nicer than the stock rims and I understand the weight is about the same.

I'll probably also use the Mille Miglia M-S wheels for winter tires.

If you need an extra set of wheels, they're much cheaper than the stock wheels (about $380 each) and certainly the custom wheels we've seen on this and other forums.

Strange the close up shows a five lug wheel but under bolt patern is says 6-115. I guess that means six lugs but must be wrong picture

Just like a lot of companies, they (Tirerack) sell parts to fit different vehicles. In this case, the wheel manufacturer makes this style wheel in different fitments and sizes that can fit different cars (# of lugs, offset, etc.). The actual wheel looks the same, so there is really no point of taking another picture of a six-lug wheel and posting it there.

Question on the Mille Miglia wheels. I'm looking at the same wheels (snow tires) and wondering if I should order new set of pressure sensors or go without. Feedback from Caddy dealer says the sensors "may" not work on non stock wheels. What are you doing about the sensors?

    Tom,

Sensors will work on non factory wheels. I have them on my CCW's. You will need to run the sensors or your tire sensor chime wheel go off. Sensors are about 55.00 through your dealer.
