    I dig this !! ZR1 Pearl Blue V - nice

it may be the lack of color options that causes my to like alternate colors when people commit to painting their rides. I'd love a straight up blaze burnt candy copper with like 90 coats of clear... but this is cool.

I really liked that car until I saw the salvage title. I think the color looks great.

Salvage title probably at least partially explains why he went with different color.

I'll say one thing, that high-altitude sunshine and blue sky sure does enhance that blue color!

I love the color on the vette but not on a V. It sure would stand out in a crowd of V's lol.

    Cool Re: I dig this !! ZR1 Pearl Blue V - nice

Hi Guys I just signed up to post about my car on ebay untill I saw this thread, you had already found it lol. It does have a salvage title but if you really looked at the car in person you can tell it was fixed right. All brand new OEM parts were used I work at the shop that fixed it and I painted it so I know it was done right. I am an extremely motivated seller I had no intention of selling it but I really need the money for a tahoe for the wife after we had our third child. So any offers please send them over or bid on ebay it has no reserve and ends in 5 days!

I believe that color is called Jetstream Blue. It's not limited to ZR1; Z06, coupe and convertible were/are available in that color.

Not my choice on the V1...ZR1 grey would have looked bad a*s.

    Re: I dig this !! ZR1 Pearl Blue V - nice

As soon as I saw that color I figured it had been in a decent wreck of some kind.

I have looked at salvage V's and was very close to buying one, but it had too many missing parts like inner fender liners and such that I just had to back away from it. It's one thing to have a car repaired so that it is just as good as stock, but it just screws up the resale both willing buyers and value.

Truthfully, if I had the cash right now I would be seriously considering it, but it is right at where my top end offer would be.

Not my bag either. I would LOVE a diamond white V1 with a black interior and black Alcantara headliner like that car has tho.

It's too bad Caddy didn't offer the V1 in diamond white.

Hy guys to answer the where the headliner was done, Franks upholstery in Pueblo. As far as the reason why I repainted it a different color really had nothing to do with the accident, the car hit a patch of ice over a bridge and spun around and swiped both sides. It really only totalled out because the owner was an insurance agent and wanted to get a new bmw m5. If you are interested I would pay for an independent appraiser there is nothing to hide it is all fixed right. I would even be willing to pay for half.
