I feel that hood is the best choice.. Want one but the price is really not fair for as long as that hood and our cars have been available.

When you say Mickey? Mickey G? with the silver V with the cutouts and r-tarded cam, who is not on the forum? If it is him, tell him I said hi. If you shook his hand after the install.... wash you hands.. probably smell like Glory Days. (V-day 4 reference)

when you get a chance, please post a photo of the underside of the hood. I'd like to see if they incorporated a drain setup. Is it lighter than the stock hood?

Thanks and will do. Motor is already running around 10 degrees cooler! Car is definitely thanking me with all these 100+ temperatures in the NJ/NYC area along with the 160 thermostat.

YES, Mickey G from NYC. We have been friends for awhile. He does have the crazy cam along with the heads he just did. He is also computer illiterate . Been trying to get him on the forum for over a year. It's gotten to the point where I have to mail him important threads because he can't manage to get on here. Funny thing is I know all about this story, and I will be sure to deliver the message. REALLY funny story...wish I was at Glory Days to witness it

I will be sure to get a picture of the underside of the hood for you. With all the rain in the forecast coming up, we will see how well the hood drains.

And thanks Will(s). The hood does need a few adjustments still. Gotta play around with it after this weekend.

C4SS, GREAT mod! That hood is visually striking. One of the most aggressive exterior mods in my opinion.

AWESOME! Can't wait to see some pics of the new hood at work on the track!!

I was going to grab those pictures for you, but car is in the shop at the moment. Will get them when I get the car back. For now here are a few shots of the hood on the car that were asked for.

Pics taken with my Droid in the rain. Better ones to come once the weather gets better.

Re: Specter Werkes Heat Extractor Hood Installed...(with pics)

    Looks awesome!!!

But...I have a couple of questions as I will be placing an order for one of these babies hopefully within the next two weeks to replace my hail-damaged stock hood.

At the back of the hood, where it meets the windshield, it looks like the hood sticks up slightly, and that is how most of these SW hoods have looked in pix that I have seen. Is there anything to adjust to make that match up better?

It looks like you have a slightly larger gap on the passenger side, is that something that a professional body shop could work on and get perfect, or is that a design/build flaw.

Sorry, not trying to nitpick, it does look badass, but I just want to hear your experience and if any adjustments are possible to make the fit better.
