Re: Are those CCW wheels on the "Super V"?

They certainly look exactly like CCW wheels. Another clue that leads me down that path is the SuperV wheels look like bare aluminum, with no clear coat, with some oxidation from not being polished. Which is exactly what would happen to the uncoated CCW wheels.

If they're not CCWs, we know where CCW copied the design for their wheels from...

What was the widest rear CCW said they were making for the V?

I am about 90% certain that John at CCW cut those wheels. He does a lot of prototype wheels for GM and if I'm not mistaken during one of our conversations he told me he had made a special set for a new Super V. I am still extremely happy with mine and get complimented on them daily.

They look like offset Superior wheels. Superior makes most of the GM factory wheels. The V has no room for positive offset (hence the flares) In Fact, I do not think the V can be lowered as the front tires as they sit, will rub the wheel wells.

Doubt it. John can only make the 1 pieces in 19" or 20" diameters. Those fronts sure look like 18" or smaller.

    That car is sweet tho

Starting to look like a matchbox car with those wheels, but I bet it helps with the hop.
