2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V Appearance Mods Discussion, pictures wanted of your gauge pod setup !!! in Cadillac CTS-V Series Forum - 2004 - 2007; Not really a sound clip but it's the only video i have.
Yes i'll admit it is difficult to look at the gauges when going WOT where you need to concentrate on the road. But it works fine for my purposes, my main concern is the fuel level gauge which i don't need to look at WOT. Plus it can be a little more stealthy. I've had cops harass me over the blower noise and i don't need any more attention, so i just close them when the cops pull me over.
Thanks guys, and yes it's an F1 procharger with the big red ATI race valve. The exhaust consists of kooks headers and B&B midpipe and cat back. I like the sound of the exhaust but it is way too quiet it is overpowered by the blower, but i'm keeping it and will be swapping to a more aggressive cam and adding dual electric cut outs after the headers...i think that should do it LOL.

Re: pictures wanted of your gauge pod setup !!!
I just got another set of pillars in from f-parts off ebay. I will be mocking up some double pod a pillars here soon but dont count on me to get them done in a timely manner. Just fair warning. I will also be flush mounting the passengers a pillar speaker to get rid of the little bose speaker grill. I was never a fan of them.
That looks really good but I'm not sure I can be that involved in the pillar setup. I was thinking of buying a plastic universal pillar mount, some upholstery and attaching it to the pillar then upholstering over to make it look more seamless.
