Red faceTint / Clear Bra ?

What is the best tint. Llamar seems to be pretty good. StealthV, I seen your pictures and your car looks great ! What percentage of tint shade did you go on you Llamar tint.

Also, I heard from a invisible bra installer that after a while when you take the invisible bra off, that your car will have a different shade inconsistant around the car. I think he meant that the rest of the car would look faded.

Can anyone elaborate on Invisible bras, and if there is now problem who has the best quality of invisible bra?

My tint is 38% which is just dark enough to look good but not attract too much attention since it is illegal in my state. I've already had to pay "tint-licensing" fees (a.k.a. tickets) for tint on other cars. :coolgleam

The original color of your car and the UV exposure will have a lot to do with any fading. This is the first car on which I've installed the 3M clear bra so time will tell with my platinum V. However, I've owned cars for over 15 years with silver color (basecoat/clearcoat) and they have held up very well - even here at altitude in Co. I have never owned a black painted car so I can't compare fade for that color - but I would suspect its higher than platinum.
