I bought mine from Pep Boys as well. They were just on the shelf next to the regular Silver Star headlight bulbs.

That aside I'm ready anytime to update the lights. Let me know when your ready.
I got a set of clear ones from the guy on ebay who makes them to replace my STS-V ones.
I also ordered a set of DDM 55W 4,500k slim ballast HIDs. (They are on sale).
I will let you guys know when the install happens

I picked up all the materials to do this...hopefully this weekend. I can't believe your changing out the STS V lights. Those things are expensive.

I'm going with the DDM 35w 5,000k. I'll post up photo's as well!

I got a decent deal on here for a set of used STS-V.
I figured I can sell them for about the same as I bought them. I need something new for this season that was cheap to hold me over while I am saving for the 09.

Any reason you went 35W rather than 55W other than the $10?
I have yet to find any issues on the forum from running the higher wattage

That is one reason but primarily I didn't want Fogs that over powered my headlights.

    Re: HID Foglights

I have been slowly but surely getting my fogs switched out. I have made the clear lenses and received the hid ballasts, but am confused on the installation of the wiring part. What do you do with the 2 little metal prong looking things on the ballast kit? I see where they plug in, but does it matter which one goes in the left and which one goes in the right? They don't seem to be labeled. If I need to post pics I can if that helps.

    Re: HID Foglights

I went with 35w 4300k...but I wanted to match the stock headlights. Which they match perfectly.

If you get the ddm's you have to turn the connecter piece 180 degrees to get it to work.
