Im sure the car has some extensive wheel well modifications to tuck that much.

I know the suspension is dumb, but I posted to help give an idea of how much potential these cars have.

Potential for what? To be an unpractical, undriveable, destroyed handling, parking lot decoration?

potential to be a very diverse car that appeals to many different demographic groups. i think it's great people do that to their cars. it breeds innovation. you never know what could come of things like that. i personally like it. i wouldn't want to do that to a v, but i still like it. it probably will still handle well 'enough' for daily driving and i doubt that car (like most cars) will ever see a track.

At stock height 20s with the right offset and tire size will NOT rub. If you just slap any ol wheels with some crazy offset yes you will but If you go with a 20 and match the right wheel to the car you will not have any problems. I too agree that the Air Ride is a bit much. Maybe if it were a truck but not on a V. When I used to show cars I used to do the same thing. Drop the car to the floor with the wheels tucked. I used coilovers though, so after the show I would crank em back up and have a high performance ride again.

You have misinterpreted me. They have potential to look MUCH better than stock. All Im saying is with a mild drop and some black rims it will look good. The one in the picture is obviously overboard. If you had read my post you would see that I said....

Now that I understand what was implied - a mild drop, black rims... I agree!

Love the look of the black wheels but loose the chrome ring. Make them a light weight forged wheel with ultra performance tires and I want some. Any one have info on possible different tire sizes that can actually enhance performance or is it all for looks?

I wonder why no one hasn't just bead blasted the stockers and have them powder coated. My guess would be $700-$1,000 a set. A small price to pay for a one of kind look and assured fit. Hmmmm, should I? Should I?

I'm thinking a charcoal gray on the stockers would look better... like the Z06 wheels, maybe a little darker.

    Color like this:

    Yes, yes, YES!!!!

Charcoal or gunmetal, but MUST have polished lips to set it off. I know this can be done.
