I dont know what im going to get a chance to install these because i still have some plastic to bake. but i will post pics once i get it done.. Quote:

As far as I know the only orange (amber) lights required on cars are side marker lights. Of course these laws are statutory and may differ across lines.
In TN you must have red tails and amber side markers. There are not laws governing fogs and DRL's except they may not be red or blue.
Correct me if I am wrong. | I have heard roughly the same thing.. except for the different color part. Im pretty sure if your running DRL's with anything other than amber your going to get hassled.. |

I'm going to to do my fogs, small lights next to the headlights, and side markers at the same time.
Is it true the best way to get the stock orange ones out is to just break the lens with a quick tap from the front?

They are in mint condition and after the billed me it only ended up costing me $190 shipped for both fogs. I will be a couple of days before I have a chance to instal the lights but I will try to get pics up afteer the install. |

It took about 15 per side to do the swap and it was well worth it. Now I'm trying to see if I want to smoke the lights at all or if I want to just leave them clear... because all clear is looking pretty good right now! |

All I did was take the inner fenderwell shroud out completly which is really easy(Maybe 10 push clips hold the inner fenderwell in). After that the light housing is only held in by three screws. Nothing was hard to get to, the car didn't have to be on a jack and the wheels or the bumper didn't have to come off. The STS V fogs that I got came with the STS V wiring harnes and bulbs. I want to change the lights up for something brighter and maybe along the lines of the full LED/HID light conversion all over the car, but for now I haven't done enough research on what is out there and besides the stock bulbs are not too bad. |

Taking the front tires off is helpful. I must admit, I did crack the inner fender liner trying to bend it back to gain better access to the fogs. Everybody says taking the front bumper off is easy, but I have yet to do it. Afraid I'm gonna stratch all up. |

I have been searching for a pair and no luck. I am trying NOT to pay 300 for a set. Post the pics. I did the clear sides with auto illumination chrome/amber. Just need the fogs to match. |

I dno't know how often they get more, but just keep trying them back or try car-part.com. That sight has a large search base from a lot of different salvage yards that may have the part. Just remember if you do call a place on that car-part; if the place says that they have the light be sure to get them to send you a pic of the light, because 90% of the places that I called on there said that they had the light but after they sent me pics to confirm they had the STS light instead of the STS V light. The only place that I would trust to send the correct fogs without having to see pics before would be Schram. If you can wait I would definatly wait until Schram gets more back in. |
