I don't think I particularly like the Hyper Black, to be honest. I think on a Platinum or Redline car it would look awesome, but I'm not sure it's right for my car. I may end up selling these and going with Hyper Silver instead.
I spoke to Dan a little while ago on the phone - he called to see if I had successfully gotten the wheels mounted on the car and to check to be sure there weren't any fitment issue. Good customer service (and obviously a vested interest in these wheels fitting properly since he's got another 9 or more sets coming! ). He mentioned a desire to branch out into other Rota options for our cars, including doing another wheel style that would allow a staggered setup. |

The first-ever set of CTS-V Rota wheels! did those tuner style mcgard splinedrive lugs fit well with your stockers? trying to figure out what the difference is between the two, and which ones would work with the CCWs... |

I've only used the Splinedrives with the Rotas - I just got them. They should work perfectly with stock wheels, too, as they're the same 60deg taper as the stock lug nuts. |

Not sure why, as you have found, the rear drive shaft really sticks out farther than it needs too. With the BMW TR-1 Motorsport wheels( with C5 Corvette hub conversion) I had to trim the inside of the center cap in order to get it to lock in.
Nice work on an alternative!

I love those GRIDs. I would possibly be onboard for those in a 8.5" front and a 9.5" rear, or even better, 10" rear. I think that style of wheel is badass and I would love to see how it would look on a V (even the gold color that you have shown on the STI would look cool, I think).
I am putting a photoshop request out there: The Rota Grids on a CTS-V - let's see them.

I have 19" CCWs now and am having a very hard time finding tires (other than my Toyo T1-Rs, which I really like, but they are not R-compounds) to fit - the manufactures usually make 1 or 2 sizes in 19" and a ton of sizes in 18". | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
