Here are some of the last conversation:
Me: There is a lot of interest on these covers just as long as the price is reasonable. There are also quite a few requests for a carbon fiber intake tube. It would essentially be a 3" or 3.5" straight tube maybe 10" or a foot long. I've had a few requests for interior trim pieces too.
These guys are really into weight reduction. Do you have any pictures of hoods, trunks, a dash, bumpers, or anything like this that you have done?
CFguy: The price of the covers really depends on how you want these covers to be done, mainly pertaining to the lettering. I know everyone would prefer Cadillac CTS-V on the cover, so the options are really (1) make the lettering surface flat and then use a decal or (2) recess it like the original. Option 2 will obviously be more expensive.
Also, if you want to post on the forum what font people would want it, that would be great as well. This is mainly for the decal version. If they know what the stock font is, that would help us do it like stock.
When I get a chance, I will set up a gallery of parts that have been done. Most of these have been made for BMWs. We're looking to push towards other manufactures and broaden our reach, usually catering to niche groups of car owners. I own an E30 M3 and there has been a lot of development in parts for this vehicle. We hope to provide solutions as well as alternatives for the CTS-V community.
The tube will be an easy thing to make. Should not take too long. Let's push for the FRCs so people can see the quality, and from there we can determine what direction the CTS-V community would like to take it.
So...It looks like he wants to do a run of the FRCs first to make sure they sell. Which version would we want first? I vote Cadillac CTS-V recessed or smooth. |

Maybe if we get enough people to do the intake he will make them right away too.

Here's some ideas:: Around the radio, around the ac vents, on the door to cover that big triangular thing around the door handle, also if possible some pieces to cover the aluminium trim around the steering wheel ( to match the other cf pieces ) and maby interior door handle covers??? And I of course would be interested in an intake tube with the holes for the sensors and preferably that it attaches to the lingenfelter intake Cause I know most people have it and it uses the stock tube.
Just some ideas!!
Thanks in advance,

I have an extra if the manufacturer is interested in a template.

He setup this gallery of pictures he found quickly. Apparently he has made many other parts. He wants to see how the FRCs sell and then go from there.
So he is a BMW guy and can't spell "Before"... http://gallery.me.com/chutrains14#10...lack&view=grid
So who is in on the FRCs if they are priced right? |

Once the first ones are done he should be able to produce them quicker. It's just a small shop. I will let everyone know asap.
