front fenders, hoods, spoilers, etc
nothing that requires cutting of the car. |

The CF roof will be replacing a piece of sheet metal (if it doesn't do past the pillars) which doesn't give you much support but your not loosing any anyway.
The tinted tails, while looking cool, could be a safety hazard. I don't want some retard running into the back of my V because he couldn't tell I was hitting the brakes. |

| | Cadillac Owners Enthusiast | | | | | Re: CF Feeler Thread Just a quick summary of the above:
Appearance:
- FRC
- Intake Tube
- Air Box
- Battery Cover
- Mirrors
- Radio trim
- Sunroof Control Panel
- Ashtray to gauge conversion
- Door Handle Surround section
Weight Savings:
- Front Bumper
- Rear Bumper
- Front Fender
- Rear Fender
- Roof
- Trunk
- Hood
- Doors
Enhancements:
- Rear Diffuser
- Chin Spoiler
- Extractor Hood
- Rear Spoiler
- Underbody Panels
- Side Skirts
- Sunroof Delete Panel
Some of these may fit in more then one category, I just placed it in the one that made the most amount of sense to me.
Any I missed ?
Next step will be to pick one item, come up with a solid estimate, see if there is the minimum required interested buyers, if there is then get some deposits, make the mold, make the part, and see the results. If good, you choose the next item on the list and repeat.
Do we have enough interest in any one part?
I have mentioned the FRC's only because they are relatively easy to make, and because they will be relatively inexpensive.
I also sense there is significant interest in the trunk, again because it's a relatively easy part to make, it should be cost affective. It will require a bit of a sandwich construction and some embedded supports, although none of that is too complicated.
So post your interest, nobody is holding you to it, but also please be realistic. We have a willing fabricator, but if we jerk him around, or not come up with the $$$ after he spends the money to make some parts, we will never get the parts we all crave. |

That would look SOOOOO much better than the stupid rubber 90s attached the metal 4 inch tube.
Of course if I get that, Id need FRCs that were ACTUAL carbon fiber as well, so both of those are in. |

We are still looking for a loaner for an LS6 and a LS2 FRC to make molds from, otherwise we will ahve to go buy some stock Vette ones, and start from scratch. |

Somebody that has a maggie with modified FRC's needs to send this guy a set so he can make some that fit with the blower.

HOLY ****! DOES WANT!!
Seriously, what does he charge, I will send my painted and sliced CF wannabe covers if you need templates. I want the intake tube (can provide stocker if necessary for molding) as well. Get at me. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
