Well you can always remove the interior, all the power accessories, ac compressor, heater core, aluminum / magnesium alloy wheels... I dont know where you are in terms of lightening, but then theres always punching various size holes in everything, yay ol skool tricks...

I have been told the fabricator utilizes a Vacuum and Infusion method. Not as bad as wet lay up, not as nice as pre-preg.

Re: CF Feeler Thread

the whole point of carbon fiber is strength a weight guys...how about a carbon fiber engine block? bwahahahahahahahaaa! carbon fiber looks cheap to me, paint it! so realistically? hood, doors (with proper support, nobody wants to get tboned and...well...die), trunk lid, and of course the random ground effects. reality of the fact is that if you make anything and it has functionality with it as well...we will probably buy it as long as we dont need to take out a loan to afford it!

Re: CF Feeler Thread

How about carbon brakes!!! Functional and cool as hell.

Rotational weight = 4x as heavy as static.

Re: CF Feeler Thread

I would think hood and widened front fenders would be the place to start - get more room for some decent sized rubber under this heavy pig, and take some weight off the nose. Even those items I'm sure are going to be $$$, though. Realistically, there are very, very, very few people on this forum who are going to pony up the cash for limited production CF parts.

Re: CF Feeler Thread

the center dash piece (including maybe gauge pod instead of ashtray), sunroof control panel and door handle surrounds would look NICE, IMO. NOT OVERLAYS, those suck.
