Re: CF Feeler Thread

Ron - I would be very interested in a hood - if it is a cowl or heat extractor type as the maggie adds 100lb and bores hole through the roof. I think it would be work for me to get a CF cowl head extractor hood.

Mick

PS. Nice seeing you on the track yesterday at summit.

Re: CF Feeler Thread

CF front fenders and rear quarters that have been modified to fit bigger tires and not bolt on overfenders. Something that looks factory.

Re: CF Feeler Thread

CTS-VR style flairs and sideskirts would be nice. As for underhood stuff, some of that would be nice as well. A replacement battery cover is something many people could use. I also like the underbody and subtle diffuser ideas.

Re: CF Feeler Thread

+1 for underbody panels and a rear bumper with integrated diffuser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fenders and decklid and hood Specter Werkes makes already!

i'd also like a carbon sunroof delete panel if we cant get the whole roof...

and MIRRORS hell yes!!!!!!

Re: CF Feeler Thread

Keep it simple stupid:

Plain Vette fuel rail covers (theres a big market for REAL CF)
Fender flares
Hood
Chin Spoiler

Carbon fiber driveshafts have a horsepower limitation from what I remember. Go buy an aluminum one, theyre cheaper, theyre light as hell, and you cant break them.

Oh and to the guy who wants to be driving a zonda F - only ricers leave CF unpainted

Re: CF Feeler Thread

I saw a black M6 at the track this weekend, it had the CF (unpainted) roof. I couldn't tell until I was only a few feet away.

On the other hand he left on a flat bed after only the first session

Re: CF Feeler Thread

From the list you posted, I'd be intrested in the CF roof. I like the idea of the underbody panels too, as long as they don't create lift at higher speeds. Same can be said for a defuser. Anyone can make a pretty one, but it needs to be functional for it to be worth the money. (Though I'd take the roof even if it is just a show piece)

Since the interior is rather bland, perhaps a few CF bits for in there would be nice...

Re: CF Feeler Thread

Could they do a trunk lid? Nice weight savings there.
