cf gauge pod in place of ash tray. must have. (or just include when making the whole center piece) or both.

CF GUY: I might have forgotten to mention it to you, but the last run of Corvette FRC that was done, it required 20 sets to be sold to break even. I had discussed with Rjoffe that I would absorb some of the cost and knock the requirement down to 15 and sell the rest through eBay or by other means. I know that there are a lot people who have these cars and not part of your forum of any other.
The cost of having the FRCs done with the decal and clearcoated will be $385 shipped within the US. The recessed letters will be $100 more. Shipping will be done through USPS Priority so people will get them within 3 days of shipping. I know people will be anxious to get these once production is started, so I will push things along as efficiently as possible. Development time should be much quicker than the Corvette FRCs because my fabricator will know how to make the molds in advance as opposed to the Corvette. Turnaround time from development stage to actual product that can be shipped is highly dependent on the work load we get from other orders.
The quickest and easiest way for payment would be through Paypal. Funds are transferred quickly and a verified address is provided so it is safe for both the seller and buyer. Those who live near NYC can arrange local pickup. If you want to start a head count of those that want the covers, we can get things moving. Once we get enough people, I have created an account on the forum and I will send them a PM with details for a deposit. I will only be collecting a 15% ($57.75) deposit so people will be more comfortable without having to put a lot of money down before seeing a product. The remaining balance will be requested when the product is ready to ship. Once funds have been received, the customer will receive a tracking number for their package.
For those questioning my integrity on the forums, you can check S14.net which is a E30 M3 forum under the username "chutrain". I have also set up successful groupbuys on R3Vlimited for AC Schnitzer Mirrors in CF under the same username. I sell on eBay under the username "kwokcheec". |

I want the intake more than the FRCs so I'm going to hold out for that. |

There are quite a few people who have expressed intrest in the intake and if this vendor doesn't want to produce them, hopefully someone else will!
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have the FRCs in addition to the intake. I realize that I won't see much, if any power gain from an intake, however as far as I am concerned an intake is form and function, while FRCs are merely pretty. I'm not "anti-bling" but I don't have my hood open often enough for anyone to appreciate $400 worth of CF under there. If an intake gave me a bit better engine sound and a couple ponies, that would be worth it to me. |

1. Bueller | I would love to see you guys get what you want but sometimes when things are being made one off pretty much, you have to sacrifice a little more up front to get what you want in the end.
Kind of like the wheeldude wheels. I wanted a wider wheel but the first batch was only in stock size. I bought that wheel because I liked it but also to get the ball rolling on other projects as well. Now he is making a taller wider wheel that I like better than the ones I bought, but that is life. |
