I'm not usually the "support the forum" police, but I'll point out that in this thread it would be a really good idea. If you're going to benefit greatly from the information/deals/vendors on this site, you might want to help keep it up and running. $5 a month or less is money well spent when you consider how great this place is. OK, so we just need Bent Halo to get his order confirmed and we'll be good to go. Where you at, Bent Halo??

Of course, I'm probably not going to see these wheels until late August, unless the 2-3 months thing falls at the very short end of that range. I was trying to get this started before I deployed back in November so the wheels would hopefully be on their way by now. I'm only home for ~2 months, and then in early April I'm off on deployment again until sometime in mid/late August.

I would jump on this except im not sure how the colors are gonna work on the platinum paint. I would need to chrome or colormatch...

Hyper Black will look good with any exterior color.. posted on page 1 Is a photochop i did with hyperBlack 350z and my Platinum V.. I think it looks badass.. do some research on wheeldude's site, he has a huge Photo gallery that might get you off the fence..

I agree hyperblack could look good. I had hyperblack on my last car. However, the galleries confuse me further because the curvature of the spoke is different dependant on the offset. Plus we have a 6 bolt pattern.
Unfortunately, I no longer make purchases on blind faith.

yeah i guess it is a blind faith move but considering that NEW wheels for this application usually range from $1200 to 3k... I'll pay $850 and be one of the guinea pigs who gets a set of rims that have never been seen on a V..
