I installed the tinted side markers from ebay over the xmas break, yet I didn't realize that the bulb was yellow too. So, at night the light still emits yellow....looks kinda goofy.
Also, I have the clear fog light lenses sitting in my garage, and I'm just looking to have time to take out my fogs and do the procedure correctly to seal the housing. Is there also an amber light in the top of the foglight housing, or is it just the lens that is amber?
Thanks guys! |

The DRL is a clear bulb behind an amber lens. The old SML was the same, clear bulb behind an amber lens, but they include an amber bulb so old people can see you at night! |

The side marker lenses require no modifications, as they come fully assembled and are just plug-n-play. The fog lights are a different story. You have to remove the lens from the stock housing and replace it with the new lens...which requires baking the housing in order to get the old lens off, and "gluing" the new lens on with an epoxy of some sort. I still haven't tackled the fog lights yet. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
