If you don't mind me askin, how much does that run normally? It really sets your car off with the dark rims IMO. My rims are chrome so I'm not sure if I should do it or not because I like how it looks matching those two. But I just smoked my taillights, 3rd brake light, backup lights, and sidemarkers (not like jet black, but darker) and I think it looks real sharp. You plan on doing anything else black? Looks good though man, take care of it.

You cannot powdercoat the plastic frame, and since I didnt want to go about the hassle of matching the pdc'd grille with a painted frame, so I painted it all. Shouldnt be more than 100 from a paint shop if you bring them the parts disassembled. |

I recently had a tint shop do mine and they came out great....they didn't use nightshade or spray paint either but instead they used a typical tint film. Came out really nice too. I'll post pictures this week when I get a chance. I couldn't do a week turnaround either so I did this and I'm happy with it. And if I ever get tired of it, they come right off with a hairdryer and some soapy water. |

So to answer some of your questions. Do they look good - YES, Can you see the seam - YES, but I also used the eyelids and taillids for the top of the lens. That alows a single sheet for each light.
These are easy to put on and also since I live in a state that you cannot have them tinted or colored - I take them off during the inspection and then have the tint shop put them on again. This is much less expense than buying the headlights and taillights pair.
One more thing - If you use a heavy film they also help the headlights with any chipping from road hazards. Here are some crude pics of my car.
