BPITAS, you asked for pics so here they are.
Anyone on the fence about the HID Fog conversion, please get off, these things are awesome and they add +15hp too
Bossplayer, provided some daytime pics, I have some night shots. The results are outstanding.
Notice how, every pebble on the ground is highlighted. I think I can find loose change with these lights!
This is after the LED Cornerlamps but before the HID conversion

This is after the HID Conversion

From inside looking out!

Re: 55w HID Fog Conversion Pics

Versus the watt 35w HID setup. How much farther do the 55w cast light?

I am trying to decide between the two if the 55W are worth the extra$$$

I haven't seen the 35w in person, so I don't have anything to compare too.
I just fronted the extra dough for the 55w, I'm happy

Re: 55w HID Fog Conversion Pics

I was tryna get the TopPSI kit that had the small ballasts, back when Mark was havin those problems with his distributor - not sure if he's sellin 'em any more. What kits are you guys all goin with? Didn't know they had different wattage kits.

I think that's the closest I've seen a set of HID fogs come to stock temperature. I was thinkin I was gonna have to go with 5000 or 6000K and do both the fogs and the low beams so that they came out the same. Now it looks like alls I gotta do is get some of them 4500K for the fogs and I'd be set. Naihs.

Re: 55w HID Fog Conversion Pics

This is the same kit that TopPSI was selling. You can buy them straight from the MFG. Do a google search for apexcone, then you find a link to their Retail site, DDM tuning.
Also there was another guy who was doing a group buy on this set here on the forum. If you check out the supporting vendor section, you'll find him.
I think his price was a little lower but, I prefered to deal directly with the MFG.

Very nice. It would be nice to be out at 2am messing with my lights. Dare to dream.

DDM are good to deal with. I've got the same kit in my E39 540i.

Certainly looks like you are getting alot of glare, tho!

Trust, me I wasn't out there just for the lights.
I was coming home from work and took the opportunity to snap some pics.

As far as a glare. I'm not understanding glare. I do understand that these light up the road like crazy. To me there doing exactly what I paid for
