I don't know if we can link to non supporting vendors, but here is a link to an ebay search for 57-LED 3157 bulbs

The link provided above should give you a good idea of how they look.

I love how bright the 24-LED bulbs were but their pattern was too narrow and the 31-LED bulbs had a nice wide pattern but not bright enough.

Hopefully this is the solution.

installed the 57's in the reverse and like them. Anyone else notice that they are slightly pointed towards the outside. Also I did not have to trim them at all, just a lot of slow wiggling.

I will install the brakes soon.

Did not notice any "pointing" in mine... just nice and bright

Did you get White or Red 57's for your brakelights?

I didn't like the Red 57's in the brakelights, so I only have 'em in the middle taillights... my brakelights are still incandescents... need to find a bright brakelight to make the switch!

I will try and get pics tomorrow if I get the red 57's in the mids, b/c the reverse are definitly slightly pointed out. I have some white 24's that were very bright in a tight pattern to try in the brakes or some red 31's. If not the incandescents will remain.

Has anyone had any probs installing the 194 smt tower lights 4 the map & license plate lights?

I have the SMT towers in the headlights and plate lights. I am considering going to the Tower II or IIIs for the plate lights. You do not need anything close to that bright though for the maps, I have something similar to the 5 matrix bulbs they have and it works fine.

The 9 leds from autoluminations would work as well

The rigid loops from autoluminations are need for the footwells.

I just realized the guy sent 63 LED bulbs like the ones in the link below.
The tails were a pain to wiggle in so I left the 31's in there.

How much brighter than the 57's are they? Might be time to "upgrade" the BU lights

I'm curious and quite interested in putting in some LEDs. Being the lethargic and busy type of guy I want to target the 'easiest to replace' places that don't require too much disassembly, bumper removal or jacking of the car. From what I've gathered the side markers are easiest to remove but I've very interested in doing the backup/reverse lights.

How easy is it to get to them?

Help is always appreciated.
