Name/size/placment They look like they should fit. I Just wonder about how bright they will be since leds alot of light shining side ways and not straight. But there is reflective material that is behind the bulb so should they should look good. Gost a pic when you get them. |

They are unbelievably bright.
I nearly blinded myself and am still seeing spots.
Also, the color is very pure white and matches the HID's really well.
Yes they fit perfect also.
(Forget about the dim 5-LED-Matrix and dremeling out the socket opening.)
The Super Star Wide Angle
are more factory looking, since they are less bright and only have one LED.
Light is not as white though (slightly more blue).
I think I will put these in my Side Markers, since the single LED look is more appropriate there.
Also, these are probably the brightest that will fit in the Side Markers.
They do just barely fit on height. | Just ordered the SMT towers, thanks for the tip! |

I have the map lights and license plate ones already installed. I have some reverse lights and dome/ door lights on order.

Do yourself a favor, if you are of average build (I am 6' 1" and weigh 235) or less, get down there and pop the bulb out and look at the housing. I put both of mine in without modifying anything. One went right in, the other was a little less compromising but stayed in nonetheless. |

Are our BU Lights the 3157 or 3156 Size? |

but they require lots of trimming, which I did not want to do so,
I just ordered
I'll let you know which one fits best.

I doubt a 3156 will fit as the sockets are keyed. |

The first post was somewhat confusing showing both #'s.
I ordered the Rigid Loop 3 WATT as well as below for the BU lights. Figure the 3 Watt direct facing for the BU will be ideal for lighting up directly behind the car. I will post pics when they come in. Introducing the New & Improved 3 Watt |

| Thanks for the great info.
I'm definitly in average bear size category.
I will order them up and make sure I have lots of small friends over to help. |

Until then I will have to not drive at night or close my eyes each time I get in the car so I don't see the yellowish light. |

Comparo to come shortly...
Ordered one of the 57-LED's from eBay ($16.38 OTD for one)
Ordered one of the Eagle Eye Towers from Autolumination ($28.99 OTD for one)
Probably coulda saved a couple bucks buying the "pairs", but it's all in the name of science!!! |

Rigit Loop SMT win for the Foot Wells
Just a minor dremeling of the LED housing and they fit like a charm.
You will see the small clearance trimming needed, when you fit them.
(There is no trimming of your cars socket, just the LED housing itself)
The Rigid Loop 3 Watt http://superlumination.com/images/au...s/rl_cw_wm.jpg
don't quite clip in and would need moderate triming to do so.
Plus, they are way to bright. |

Would you mind trying an Eagle Eye Tower in the upper and Mid Tail and let me know how they look.
I'm almost worried they could be too bright.
In which case, the Red EET might be best.
I'm also thinking Spiders could look cool in the Mid Tails. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
