I just want to add that the Back Up LED lights are far, far brighter than my stock lights. And this is a HUGE help when you have your windows tinted at night. Can't see shit until I get those reverse lights going. Then, I can see "a little better", lol..

Did you get the ones listed above or something else?

I didn't want to do the BU Lamps but these are tempting:

Eagle Eye Tower

SMT Spider

Exactly which LED did you use? I tried the 3156-x25 LED, and it sucked...

I want to get BU LED's that are super bright, yet white...

Re: LED light guide/install with pics. Name/size/placment

I used the 25 LEDs, as well, and it was definitely not as bright as the stock halogens. Looked prettier, yes, but significanty less illumination. Especially when I had tints, it was kinda hard to see out the back. Often times rolled down the windows. Was gonna try those SMT Spiders. Was thinking it would look nice with that star array - or at least unique.

Re: LED light guide/install with pics. Name/size/placment

Found some "options" for the BU 3156 lights... I might gamble on one of them...

Finally got them.

For the Front Corners;

SMT Tower are the bomb.

They are unbelievably bright.
I nearly blinded myself and am still seeing spots.
Also, the color is very pure white and matches the HID's really well.
Yes they fit perfect also.
(Forget about the dim 5-LED-Matrix and dremeling out the socket opening.)

The Super Star Wide Angle

are more factory looking, since they are less bright and only have one LED.
Light is not as white though (slightly more blue).

I think I will put these in my Side Markers, since the single LED look is more appropriate there.
Also, these are probably the brightest that will fit in the Side Markers.
They do just barely fit on height.

Re: LED light guide/install with pics. Name/size/placment

Here is a pic of my BU. I used 31 led 3156 bulbs I found on ebay. I like them plenty bright plus the cool factor. When you unlock the V with the remote they turn on. I know the license plate isnt done yet. I'll get them installed today

Here are a couple pics of the front matrix bulbs. I had to dremeal down the tips of the LEDs to make them fit. But all is good. I dont know why but the pic makes them look really blue and in real life they are not. you can see in the back ground the BU lights are still on. they are bright

Re: LED light guide/install with pics. Name/size/placment

I'm going to pull me rear bezel off tomorrow and see if this sucker will fit...
3156 Super Bright White 57-LED Light Bulb Back-UP 3056 ---> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=140230122445

Figure $15 for 2 bulbs, what's to loose?
