How easy is it to get to them? | You have to take off the liner on the backside of the trunk decklid... then you remove about 10 bolts to get the rear bezel off... then replace both the license plate lights and rear BU lights at one shot... put all back together and all done...
Taillights are similar if you choose to tackle 'em... you pop off the plastic trim along the bottom edge of the trunk (where it closes), take off the wheel cover (floor of the trunk), then remove the big black "wheel" looking push-pin screw covers... CAREFULLY peel back the side carpeted molded panel of the trunk to reveal the back of the lights... 2 bolts will let 'em loose... |

Interior:
Rear dome
Trunk
Map lights
Puddle lights
Footwells
Exterior:
Plate and reverse lights (with a 10mm deep socket it takes less than 5 mins to remove the bezel)
Tail lights
Headlight corners (I hear it is a 100x easiest if the car is lifted/on jacks or ramps)

On a side note once I showed my dad the reverse lights he wanted some, so I just ordered 63 LED 1156 bulbs for his john deer |

and a set of 63 LED to compare and use in his john deer
He did say he wanted to be able to mow at night or just blind the neighbors or both. The man loves his V-twin liquided cooled deer.

Name/size/placment I've seen alot of people posting that they removed the front bumper to get the headlight triangles in. I installed mine tonight bought from autolumination.com the are the super star towers i believe. I was putting my hid fog kit on so I had to remove the fender wells anyways (dreading front bumper removal for the dinky triangles) so I thought I'd give it a shot. I had the car on ramps in my shop and used my small arms to wiggle up to the headlight cap. Was a bit tight but I got it. I was so thrilled when I did one and the hid kit I forgot about the driver side triangle and actually did it with the fender well in . If you have smaller arms try it before removing the front bumper.

Name/size/placment My friend did my triangle ones in his driveway no ramp no jack in 15 minutes or less. Just turn wheel right for access to left side and left for access to right side remove a couple clips and place arm between fender and inner fender. also did smt towers really look better than old dull incandescents. |

My post a couple up from this one says I used them. They are bright.
Try the STS forum for fitment. |

Name/size/placment So, read through this a couple of times and it seems to me there's no real LED alternative for the brake lights here. Any one had any luck replacing either the brake and/or indicators with anything brighter?
Thanks.

Thanks. | It would seem so... I would love to spend more money experimenting, but I already have a bunch of LED's lying around that are a constant reminder of money spent...

It seriously only took me 15 minutes per side, very easy.
I'll post up a night shot of both sides all done later.

Anbody else try these fogs? Are they as bright as the stock ones? I'm looking for some to match the updated lights from this thread. These look decent. At the moment I'm not looking for a kit.

If so what colour, LED count, type did you pick (type is 3157 I assume).
P.S> I'm thinking of picking up a set of Eagle-Eye Tower (11 LED with 1 3-watt forward facing LED) for the top tails. Not sure what to put in the mid tails.

Because of the blue tint of the white, they look a touch orange.
If you do them, do the red ones to get a better red look.
I would definetly use them for the mids.
In the upper you could use something cheaper that's only forward facing.
However (aside from cost) I don't see how you could go wrong with the EET in the mid and upper.

Just curious though, would having bulbs of equal brightness in the mids that are always running at night as well as the uppers (brake lights) kind of negate the brake light in any way?
Also, are there reflectors of any kind in the mid and uppers? Or is it sheer forward facing light that I should be looking at.
Thinking of putting in SMT Towers 48 wide angle in the mids and EETs in the uppers?!?
