March is coming and then soon spring time and that means extended drive time and track days with your CTSV.

During the first week of March; I will be offering substantial dealer discounts on the HRE Competition Series 3 Piece Lightweight Wheels in both the 18" and 19" diameters with custom width's and offsets up to 13" to clear Brembo big brake kits.

The HRE 19" Wheel diameter is the same wheel diameter size used on the new 2009 CTS-V.

These wheels weigh approximately one pound per inch and are the finest custom built forged wheels built right here in the United States.

The competition series wheels are available in just about any finish that you can think of including: chrome, mirror polished aluminum, powder coated centers and wheels lips and any contrasting application that you can think of.


HRE's Competition Series wheels are individually engineered for weight optimization. Minimizing unsprung weight is a critical factor in any competition-oriented wheel design and one of the greatest engineering challenges. Lower wheel mass decreases resistance to accelerative, braking and suspension forces, and effectively improves handling dynamics. But not all vehicles are created equal; hub sizes and bolt patterns differ and optimal wheel mass can't be achieved with one wheel fit to every vehicle.

I'm just getting a bit testy. Can you post up some of the performance stuff you have for sale?

All these cosmetic mods posts are starting to get to me.

Hey Chris....it's all good.

I need to take some pictures tomorrow as I just received a shipment of Brembo calipers from Italy, but I am offering the following for the CTSV.

1. A front Brembo GT80 8 piston staggered bore monobloc caliper set that replaces the factory lug mounted 4 piston caliper. The Brembo caliper is a radial mounted caliper that utilizes 4 brake pads per caliper. What is included in the CTSV Brembo GT80 Front Caliper Track Package is: two front Brembo 8 piston monobloc calipers, two custom machined billet forged radial mount brackets with ARP mounting hardware, anti-rattle road clips and proprietary carbon-kevlar road/track pads.

These front calipers are standard OEM equipment on the Lamborghini Gallardo and are put together in a custom turn-key package for the CTSV and are available for $3595.00

2. I am also offering a complete custom two-piece CTSV brake rotor package for the CTSV that provides substantial savings in unsprung weight over the iron one piece OEM rotors. The blank rotor discs are sourced from Brembo and are deep cryogenically treated, heat tempered, double disc grinded and mill balanced.

The treated rotor discs are available in either a smooth finish, traditional gas slotting, cross drilled or the special World Challenge Series slotting pattern.

All finished discs are industrial cadmium plated and attached to forged billet 6061-T6 hard anodized custom machined rotor hats for the CTSV 5x115mm bolt pattern and wheel offset and then attached to the finished Brembo rotor discs with Titanium jet-nut hardware.

Complete front rotor package: $1395.00
Complete rear rotor package: $1595.00 - includes full operation of rear parking brake.

carbon ceramic discs are also availble and priced on request.
