The more I look at Jons reg cts, the more I wanna go buy a sports grill.

So how much are they?? And do they come pre-painted? Because it is just so tempting I mean have you seen Jons silver car?! It looks amazing so whatcha think? Take away the V grill? Or just leave good enough alone? I mean look at it

I have been saying it since I got this car. I so want a sports grill. It makes our mesh grill look like chicken wire. Seriously, I don't know what Cadillac was thinking with the V series grills. It pains me to think people are paying money for them. I keep thinking of posting in the CTS forum to find someone with a Stealth Grey Sports Pkg who wants to trade. The plain mesh just looks ridiculous, and they are so flimsy too.

My only hangup to not buying one is I would want to take the lower mesh grill out as well. But I am afraid that would leave too much opening and risk causing damage to the radiator.

lol. It's actually my dad's and he's always saying how it looks better.

Luke will sell it to ya pre-painted with the mesh. I think it's a little less than $400. You have to get rid of the chrome strip too. We just vinyled ours.

I love the mesh grill. European cars have used the mesh grills to distiguish the performance versions of their cars for years. What I don't like is that my dealer sells an after market mesh grill as a dealer installed option and thus makes everything look like a V. I saw a DTS today with the mesh grill and a padded top and Vogue wheels with all gold trim.
Jon's car looks nice, I agree but I like the distinction of the mesh as well as the look.

I mean, I like the Sports grille too. On CTS SPORTS! The mesh grille looks great, even more so when it's color matched on a black V. You spend too much time on the CTS forum. You're becoming as goofy as they are. Go get yourself some lambo doors and dubs for your donk.
