Why not switch to CTS bumpers and a 5 lug changeover? And why do you care about sleepers in Alaska? Any car newer than an '80 is bound to be a sleeper...

Not many know what a V is, Most of the people you'll fool will be fellow V owners...

The sports grill looks nice, but I like the V grill better.

The "ultimate sleeper" thing was supposed to be humorous. I haven't talked to hardly any one who knows what the V is any way. Well there was one guy with the 03 Cobra but that's a different story.

Re: The more I look at Jons reg cts, the more I wanna go buy a sports grill.

Just for you guy I'm throwing the V bumper, grill, and emblems on my 2.8. Then I'm gonna install a "Vroom Box" so I can sound like I have a big ol V exhaust. Come on it's a GRILL. It shouldn't matter that much. I think maybe some people are compensating for something with their V...

Re: The more I look at Jons reg cts, the more I wanna go buy a sports grill.

From the CTS forum...

Interesting, Since you have a 2.8 L *cough* *cough* don't think you understand why we would get a V anyways. The car is fast, handles well, and is just a blast to drive. Point is it came with the mesh grille, looks good with the mesh grille, So why would you want to change it?

I've alwasy thought the Compensation thing was funny but I guess I could say the same to you about those wheels...

i do however wish we had 5 lug hubs so as to have a selection of after market wheels in a price range that most could afford.

I'm actually glad we have 6 lug wheels. You know what the kids will want to do when they get a hold of cheap Vs...

Dubs!

HAHAHAHA I don't think so. The 6 lugs alone will help stunt the desire of those in the CTS forum to buy up and infest these forums with threads and pics of some incredibly heinous wheels...

Re: The more I look at Jons reg cts, the more I wanna go buy a sports grill.

I didn't think I'd catch this much flak

Oh well, I washed the V yesterday...started staring at her and ya, the mesh does look pretty good.....I dunno I'm just bored with the way the car looks now, trying to think of other things to do to the outside......and there aint much else to do.....besides maybe *maybe* a black berger panel....but that would only be if I could find a cheap one on ebay to see what it looks like.

btw that sports grille still looks hawt to me

flame away bitches

It pains me to think people are paying money for them. I keep thinking of posting in the CTS forum to find someone with a Stealth Grey Sports Pkg who wants to trade. The plain mesh just looks ridiculous, and they are so flimsy too.

My only hangup to not buying one is I would want to take the lower mesh grill out as well. But I am afraid that would leave too much opening and risk causing damage to the radiator.
