I don't think it's a bad idea replacing some of that craptastic plastic we have, but these overlay dash kits generally leave a lot to be desired. In most cases, you're just covering cheap plastic with even cheaper plastic. Hard to judge w/o seeing in person, but as long as you like it that's all that matters.

looks cheasy to me....+way overdone...maybe, just maybe a couple of those pieces might spruce it up a little...but personally I'd rather cover the plastic with suede or something else <---middle panels on the doors I mean....other than that you could try some paint but that would really suck

I already made the dash kit mistake in my camaro...luckily it was a cheap car

and on another note, let us know how the clear holds up on the radio...I'm not too worried about it now..still got another 75k worth of warranty left

boy, no love on this forum, I said it looks a little tacky, but no where near as tacky as all the black chevy plastic.

As far as the steering wheel cover, leather wrapped steering wheels are horrible (the leather degrades from the oil on your skin) and these have more grip and cushion than anything else I have used. Plus they are cheap and easy to replace when they do wear out.
