I'd heard they got the permit issue taken care of, something to do with water run-off areas for EPA and/or the Corps of Engineers because it's near a water supply. Even if they get the paving done, that paving REALLY needs to cure.
Autobahn Country Club let their pavement cure nearly six months and areas still broke up in hard breaking areas. so much so they used a polymer based asphalt in the heavy braking zones to prevent further problems. Worked out fine.

The country club tracks are popping up, well proposals for them, all over the country. There was one between Chicago and Indy that was supposed to be four separate tracks that could be connected to form one 6+ mile road course. They keep telling everyone ground breaking is soon, but nothing ever happens.
