I did get the fuel pump out after cutting the trunk hole. It was actually quite easy. I didn't need any sort of special tool for any part of it. It would appear that the pump had been replaced before as there were standard hose clamps on the fuel feed lines at the tank.

Oddly enough, turns out that the main issue i was having is that someone replaced the ignition switch at the column at some point and the transponder located in the key was not coded correctly for the car.

So it is now sitting at the caddy dealership getting re programmed. I should get it back today.


I appreciate your help and that hole is going to be even more awesome when I have to replace the pump again down the road.
