I don't know who makes the GM stuff.
I only use it occasionally (about once a year) based on that the notion that it might actually "protect fuel system sending units from the corrosive effects of certain sulfur contaminants found in some of todays gasoline". I don't have a clue if it actually does that, but it is as least plausible as compared with some of the more ambitious claims associated with these products.
