The last time I purchased a warranty of any kind was in 1990 when I was able to extend the factory warranty through GM on a 1988 Olds 98 from 36K to 50K for a mere $50, or was it $100, and it was done right through the mail.
Lucky for me I actually worked for a sales manager in a Buick dealership 7 years ago who is now the General Sales Manager for the Caddy dealer. And it gets better. The President of that Buick dealership (where I worked) also works with that same GSM at the caddy dealer. So I know both these guys and expect that they can "hook me up" (as they say), via their finance guys on the warranty.
