My 2002 jimmy has 185,000km on her, origional motor, and it doesn't burn any oil at all...those 4.3L are bulletproof!!!
I have heard a lot about oil consumption with caddy motors, especially the 3.6 and the northstar V8 in the deville...deville is the worst.
Take it in and get it replaced...don't let stuff like this drag on.
