I hve the same year, same engine but I have a little more than 105k miles on the odo and the car makes the same sound as you described.
I'm not sure if its pinging or if its not the timing chain you here. You only hear it when accelerating at light to medium-light acceleration. When at 50% throttle or more, I cant here it. I'm not sure what it is but one day, I'll find it. |
