| The Whine Is Gone
Just got the V back from my dealer. Replaced the differential. No more whine. I certainly hope this differential stays this way because the quiet is very nice.
BTW, the part listed is 10368780 F-Carrier. I don't believe that this is a new differential (although others on these boards have talked about a new one) but simply a replacement of the original.
BTW #2, they listed the cause of the whine as "play in side bearing," for whatever that's worth. |
