Nick seems like a totally cool guy and we all appreciate his contributions to the forum, but the way he handled this situation is completely uncalled for. In the case of telling a Service Manager to go f*** himself and then getting his warranty claim denied, it's a case of messing with the bull and getting the horns. I usually don't talk to anyone that way, but I especially make a habit of never insulting people who handle my food, work on my car, etc. | i understand what you're saying and i'm not saying i agree with what Nick said but i also would get a little pissed if someone i didn't know called me 'son'. would i react the way he did? probably not. but the point is i don't think we need to sit here and post after post lecture Nick on what he did wrong. he did what he did and he can't take it back now even if he wants to. he's been a very valuable contributor to this forum since the day he got his CTS and it's a shame that he's not going to be around anymore. just my $0.02. |
