I have found that during my lifetime (going on almost 50 years) a little respect goes a long way. You respect the other guy, tone down the ##@$%$ language, and work with them reasonably, they will try to help and work with you - although sometimes this process takes longer that desired ! (at which point you have to be more creative). Direct angry confrontation, throwing a fit, etc., never gets the job done - especially with someone you don't know (be it mechanics, service manager, owner, mayor, judge, police officer, etc !). It just shows immaturity and attitude, which turn most people off.

In this particular dealer's case, I would calmly discuss with them the items that are not working, get it dealt with as soon as possible, and then NEVER GO BACK - go somewhere else. There are plenty of dealers out there that will do this work under warranty.
