Is that claim based on experience or youthful enthusiam? As a minimum you have to lower the cradle just to get the N* camshaft covers off. While you might be able to get the heads off too, doing a Timesert job on the motor in the car would require some physical flexibility that most of us old guys just don't have, not to mention some highly minaturized tools. Could it be done? Probably. But why would you want to? I'll put my money on the guy who drops the cradle being done first every day of the week.
As for door blowing Bugs and PTs
I'll get to the next traffic light a little later and with far less law enforcement attention while I get a massage from my heated seats.
