ok cleaned the tb checked for leaks on the plenum and made sure the throttle is closing all the way but so far i haven't found anything. the car starts at 1200 rpm then about 20 secs later revs up on it own to 1800-1900 rpm and stays there. in drive with your foot on the brake its still at 900 and is pulling hard. from a stop it accelerates on its own and once and awhile after a restart when its warm it will idle normally until u drive around a again. could the idle control valve be at fault or is it working fine and i have something else telling the engine rev up? any help is appreciated. |
