You did not read my post, I never said that the VW beetle rode better, I said the seat was more comfortable and it is, I am 6'6" and 400 pounds, beetle seat, firm and supportive, caddy seat, like sitting on a pillow with minimal support under it, great for a short ride, back hurts on a long ride, and the seat back adjustment works fine on it, but it does not have a lumbar support

Passat seat is better than the caddy seat also, and my caddy suffers from having macphersion struts in front, so it jars over the wonderful speed bumps Ohio likes to install on the interstates where most states have expansion joints, my 69 coupe deville road much better than my current deville

and no, 2005 passats do not have strut front ends, they have twin control arms like cars should have

I like my caddy's, and will always have one (or 2)
