Yup the N*, Buick 3.8, Olds 307/403 are the ones I've owned, I'm sure there are many others. 80's small block Chevs were great motors too- 305s had their wooden camshafts, and the rings/cylinders would wear out after 150,000 miles but they were still good motors. Cams/lifters are replaceable. The Vortec small blocks last darn near forever.
Old cars are the best way to save money for anyone who understands basic maintenance and doesn't mind turning a wrench on the odd weekend. |
