Dealer said they found a short, but had to remove seat cushion and replace much of the seat adjuster due to inability to get to parts of the harness that contained the short. The paperwork said they traced it to a bad worm gear also.
Hate to think what this would cost if it was out of warranty. Never had a seat adjuster go bad and I have driven a half dozen big GM sedans (not Caddies) past 135K miles in the past 20 years. |
